This could easily be the nicest hotel I’ve had the pleasure of staying in. We stayed in their sister hotel, Royal Gardens, two years ago and were allowed to use the facilities here. Ever since then, I’ve wanted to come back and stay, and it didn’t disappoint. The whole ambience is the biggest selling point, so peaceful and green with incredible facilities. The river villas with swim up private pool are excellent. Staff were very friendly, great food options and plenty of space around the two pools so it never feels crowded

The most beautiful, peaceful and relaxing resort. The staff were amazing and nothing was ever too much trouble. The Spa is delightful and the food was excellent. The best hotel we have ever had the pleasure of staying in, we will definitely be back.

Royal River is a real treat. Beautiful villas and excellent service from all the staff. Very private. La Caleta is (steep) downhill walk to additional restaurants. Taxis are fairly easy to come by for your return if you don’t fancy the walk back (approx€5)

One of the most beautiful hotels 🏨 in Tenerife with a designed tropical garden 🏝️ and even a couple of rivers that you can swim 🏊‍♂️ in. The roof top 🔝 restaurant is really good, and the Villa-style suites are beautifully decorated to the highest class. The thing we enjoyed the most however is the warm and welcoming staff. This is very definitely a five star hotel . The pool villa that we had was superb in terms of comfort, space, privacy and amenities . The hotel itself is beautifully designed and is an oasis of lush and green planting - a welcome haven after the more concrete areas that form much of the island. Swimming in the rivers adds an extra level to the other beautiful pools that available to guests. Staff are amazing with huge smiles and friendly and efficient service. Food is excellent, with an especially superb breakfast. This has to be the best hotel on the island and is fully deserving of all its awards . If you want luxury, relaxation, great food and service, this hotel is for you .

Hands-down the most luxurious hotel we've stayed in on the island. At first, I was a bit skeptical about being further away from the beach than I would like; but, once we've checked into our villa with a warm private pool plunge we never wanted to leave the hotel. Still, El Duque beach is just a quick 5mins or so taxi ride away. The villa is quite large, and decorated to an exceptionally high standard. Dinner time at the Hotel Top Restaurant with a great view onto Costa Adeje is priceless. The staff we've interacted with were both friendly and professional. I would highly recommend a stay in this hotel, especially if on a romantic getaway as we were.

Incredible hotel on the whole. All done to a very high standard. We stayed in a river villa, which I would highly recommend. The rooms are incredible. Service on some occasions was slow, and things were forgotten, but generally very good. Staff were all friendly. Good food, although the opening days of the various restaurants is odd, as if you’re not a fan of French or Asian tasting menus you’re only left with 2 options. The location isn’t ideal (only in as far as there’s no opportunity to walk to the beach), but if you’re looking for a hotel getaway and you can rent a car, it’s fantastic. Overall, 9/10.
