"The Fourviere Lyon was a total surprise for us. Upon arrival, we found a high quality hotel created from an abandoned convent built in mid 1800's. The structure is built in a square with an enclosed courtyard which offers a peaceful, walkable area for the patrons. Surrounding the hotel are ancient ruins of a Roman arena. Lots of history here! "

"Easy walk to all forms of transport. Very close to a great dining area. Surrounded by lovely shops that are closed Sunday-Monday. Very comfortable (small) common areas and lobby. No regrets staying here. "

"Lyon is our new favorite place with this hotel being right where you want to be! Good public transportation to get anywhere you want. Most things we walked to anyway and had an abundance of great shopping and eating choices! Breakfast was very good and the staff treated us very nicely! Would come back!"
