Great location. Great staff. Clean room. Good food

I stayed at Le Meridien Thimphu since it first opened and this is my 4th time at the same hotel. I returned as I was always impressed with its service, food, location and its ambience. I requested for a room to be bright and nearer elevator which was granted. However, this time I was a little disappointed with some minor issues ... the service was a little lacking in terms of replenishing the toiletries and the food is not as good as before. The bathroom needs a little sprucing up. ...

Value for money is great, staff are helpful during stay and before for coordinating driver/guide. The setting in the forest is much nicer than staying in town. The only thing I felt was a let down were the pillow, too tall and hard so had to sleep without.

Warm welcome to us. Clean and bright. Modern looking. Felt at ease and comfortable. The housekeeping staff was attentive. The bathroom lock was faulty but we didn't report. We are surprised to see the lock replaced the evening we returned.
