"This hotel was very asthetically pleasing, from the grounds, to the rooms, and even the bar! We had a triple room (twin and a double bed), which was compact, but still plenty of room to move around. We appreciated being on the first floor as it was quite warm outside and the rooms do not have AC. We had a lovely dinner in the bar and also enjoyed relaxing on the adjoining patio. Staff was very accommodating and efficient. Location is an easy 15 minute walk into city center, which was a fun area to explore. If you're not from Ireland, heads up that hotels don't seem to provide conditioner (at least none of the four we stayed in did). "

"Our room was quiet. The beds were comfortable. Everything was clean. It's in a good location. Parking was off-site but is available. Breakfast was very good. It may be dependent on time - my husband had a luke warm shower but mine was hot. I also dont like the spout in the basin as it spurts everwhere but that is being nit picky. "

"We had an amazing experience at the Newpark Hotel in Kilkenny! The hotel itself is beautiful and well-maintained, but what really sets it apart is how perfect it is for families. There’s Jurassic Newpark adventure park attached with a variety of animals to visit, which our kids absolutely loved. The playground and large inflatable were huge hits and gave us plenty of time to relax while the kids were entertained for hours. The hotel staff were warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere was relaxed yet elegant. Everything from the rooms to the dining areas felt family-friendly without sacrificing comfort or style. This is truly one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at in Ireland for traveling with children — a perfect mix of luxury and fun!"
