The bathtub designed weird so during showers, the water would flood the floor even with the curtains. The outside structure of the hotel was open and not an enclosed building which made the rooms more cold. Not many Japanese restaurants around compared to other places, more food catered to tourists which wasn't what I was looking for. Overall, it was a decent hotel that provided a lot of amenities. Train, 7-11, family mart is close by.

Pros outweigh the cons. I am glad I chose this hotel because of how close it was to the ningyocho station, it was super easy to check in and out. For a single traveler the room size was not a problem, even though it was smaller than American hotel rooms. I accidentally selected a smoking room which was my fault. Because it was a smoking room I assume they don’t keep them as clean as the non smoking. Room clearly had the yellow/brown tint and dust everywhere on top of the smell. HOWEVER I went to the front desk and asked to switch to a non smoking room. They were completely booked but were empathetic and let me have an air purifier which did help and made it a lot more bearable. There are restaurants nearby the hotel, and the ningyocho area was actually very nice and not crazy busy like some of the surrounding districts. If I had to choose again, I’d stay in this location again. But I would choose a non smoking room

Ningyocho APA Eki-Kita
This particular APA is a throw back to the late 1990s. The bed was collapsed in the middle and the skirt was frayed. Rotating the mattress 180 degrees helped a bit. The room is slightly smaller than a newer APA, but small enough to be noticeably cramped. I was also surprised at the level of dust in the room, along the carpet edges and corners. For a few bucks more, try Nihombashi-Bakurocho for two nice APAs just half a mile away. Newer APAs are designed with a platform bed with luggage storage underneath and have a slightly larger desk and updated control systems for better comfort. However, being in Ningyocho is a convenient, walkable location on the Hibiya and Asakusa lines.

Convenient location , small room . Is hot and no AC . Need to open window . Pillow is thin , no extra pillow available when ask for extra one . But willing to store our luggage for us . Staff friendly . You pay for what you get .

APA is the perfect place for a solo traveler. The bed is SUPER comfortable and the room contains all that you need. The staff is also very welcoming and helpful. I will definitely stay there again.

Great location
Great location, close to metro, combini, walkable to Ginza/Akihabara Lots of room amenities, but could have done with a few more electrical outlets. The lighting could have been better, the light above the desk was amazingly harsh! Needs to be less in your face and a few more ambient lights maybe? Bed was great! Pillows good for Tokyo. Very clean, quiet. Shame about the lack of view... My room faced a wall so hardly any natural light in the morning.

very nice and clean room in a great location, short walk away from the subway. Neighborhood is nice and quiet as well and easily accessible to the major areas in tokyo via subway. Highly recommended!

I liked that this property was close to the train station and there were many local restaurants so we didn’t have to travel very far. The only problem I would like to bring up was the size of the room compared to the photos on the website. The room we stayed in would have been fine for a single person, but for two people with luggage, it was cramped. Other than the lack of space for the room, it was a good experience!

There are also many restaurants and cafes, so you can take a break without using a train. I am very happy to like the location of this hotel. However, I am very sorry about the room, not meeting the customer's request. The distance from the entrance to the bed is short in our guest rooms in order to secure the conductors. I'm sorry to have made you feel cramped, but I'm happy if you could understand. Thank you for your valuable word of mouth while you are busy. We look forward to your use again.

Close to subway station. Late check-in not a problem. Most staff couldn't communicate well in English but luckily, the manger (??) was fluent and was able to help arrange luggage delivery to Kyoto. Small double room was tight for 2 people. Large suitcase had to be closed each day and opened in front of exit at night. Bed is too soft but I prefer a firmer mattress. Many amenities included and quiet but safe neighborhood.
