Near to station! And surrounding area there are lots of shops around. Will recommend this. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Breakfasts option is good too! :)

Value for money accommodation. Adjacent to the Akihabara JR station, the hotel is of a convenient location to popular places in the Tokyo city. Many dining choices and shopping options including the Big Camera. I will definitely come back in future visits.

Amazing hotel in Akihabara. Highly recommended for anyone staying in Akihabara. Quick access to train station and smack in then middle of all the cool anime shops, arcades, and card shops.

Great property right outside Akihabara station. Rooms are immaculate and quiet. All amenities are available and easy travel to all attractions in Tokyo. Great breakfast buffet. Staff is kind and patient.

Right next to Akihabara station which is less overwhelming than Shinjuku or Shibuya stations. Convenient for me to connect with my daughter who is living in Kameido. Not that many dining options In Akihabara but that’s okay because I usually ate dinner with my daughter near her house. Breakfast coupon can either be used at the restaurant Jonathan’s or at the Starbucks next door. Great option!

Convenient - steps from the train station, shops and restaurants. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff - touch screen check in - but in multiple languages and a video chat attendant to assist if needed, super easy. Good breakfast with enough variety to satisfy most diners. Quiet rooms despite being in a busy shopping area and the train station. Free coffee, teas and amenities in lobby. Washing machines on third floor but not enough to go around for all that want to use one. Hotel information screen shows usage of washing machines so you can watch to see if one becomes available. Room size adequate for Japan standards. We reserved two separate rooms. One room with a full mattress the second two twins. The twin room was a little larger and more spacious. I couldn’t figure out how to get English language on the tv but that was ok - we did not travel to Japan to watch tv. Attached to the hotel is a Newday convenience store that has all the neat snacks and drinks that you can find in Japan. I used the baggage transport system to send our bags to our next hotel - you do that at the convenience store - very convenient and easy. Overall a great stay with all the services I would need. I wish I can remember the staff’s names but I acknowledge all of them for helping make our stay very pleasant.

I absolutely loved this stay and will definitely be booking it again in the future. The biggest thing we liked was the location -- conviniently next to the Akihabara station exit you have access to the Yamanote line which runs all over Tokyo. It was especially nice that we had the JR Pass which gave us easy access to travel quickly! Especially on long days where we had spent the whole day walking, we appreciated being able to quickly get off the station and fall asleep in a comfortable bed. We were pleasantly surprised by how quiet the area was! Best of all were the very patient staff who helped us figure out check-in and out as well as held our luggage while we explored Akihabara once more before we left Tokyo.

The property was kept very clean and the staff was very friendly. I was amazed by how guided check-in was as an attendant would call in to the check-in booth and guide customers through the process. My room had a view of the walkway facing the main street and it was great to be able to watch the different billboards display ads and people going about their day.

I would stay again, but you should know the beds are 11 out of 10 hard. I was sore most days upon waking up but a soak in tub solved it each day. My spouse had no issues said the bed was comfy so it'll really depend. The staff are amazing, very great staff. Location is great too. I borrowed an HDMI from front desk to connect a Nintendo 64 I bought in Akiba and it was fun to play in hotel room. It's a great hotel. Free coffee and lovely amenities. Will stay again. Thank you!

We had an amazing stay at the JR east hotel Mets. First of all, the location is amazing. It’s right in the Akihabara station. Everything you could need is just a few steps away including the train station and the convenience stores. There is at least 40 restaurants all within a five minute walk. Second, the hotel is great. It’s modern and sleek. All the furniture is new and the bathroom is modern and clean. The tub is nice to take a bath in as well On the third floor we were able to do laundry and get late night drinks from the vending machine Lastly, the staff is great. They stored our bags 3 days prior to us arriving and then held our bags for a day as we went sight seeing before our flight. Would 100 percent stay again

My stay was great! The hotel couldn't be in a better location. The rooms were cozy and clean, and the included breakfast buffet was very nice. I only had two issues during my stay. The first is that the check-in wasn't 24 hours. We had to wait until 3pm to check in, which was rough since we arrived at ~6 A.M. Second, the laundry room is lacking for the size of the hotel. 3 machines for the entire hotel, and they can't really handle more than 3 or 4 days of clothing at a time. Otherwise, my stay was more than pleasant!

A great stay!
We stayed for an anniversary/ vacation trip. We enjoyed the easy access to the train station and the combini. I also appreciated the fact that there’s a washer in the hotel and a vending machine. Overall it was a great stay but wished there was easier access to trash or recycling. As we bought things we created a lot of trash (we separated the bottles & such), but in the process we had to have a big trash bag in our room until the cleaning staff came.

Located right next to JR Akihabara with plenty of convenience stores and dining options around. Love the complimentary amenities in the lobby. The room was clean and bathroom large for Japanese standards. Only suggestion I can make is to have a safe available in the room.

For a hotel being directly a doorstep to the popular Akihabara town and right by a JR station, the rooms are nicely isolated to reduce any outdoor noises, giving you a peaceful night to sleep! If you love the convenience of walking right into your hotel after getting off a station, this hotel is definitely recommended! Check-in was easy, rooms were comfortable and well equipped and the staffs were helpful!
