"Do no stay at this hotel, it is terrible. It was totally run down. The curtains were ripped and hadn't been washed in years. The bathroom was filthy with brown stains in toilet and black grime on shower seals. The sink had hard toothpaste left on it obviously from the guests before us. The room itself was thick with dust and the carpet was covered in stains and hadn't been hoovered in weeks.Even the walls had dirty marks all over them We had booked 2 rooms and both were as bad as each other. We...
"Th Leicester Inn is a very old listed property and as such has some wonderful aspects giving it great character. Being old and listed also means that modern features like double glazing and air conditioning are not present and we stayed on one of the hottest days of the year. Our room was very hot but a fan was provided and we were able to have an open window.
There is a good size car park at the rear of the Inn.
Food and service were superb."
"Debra and Drew were very welcoming hosts.
We used The Barn as a lauch pad to visit Chartwell and Knole. Perfect choice.
The accommodation was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean.
We were spoilt for choice regarding local eateries. We chose The White Hart for dinner and it was top knotch.

"Pets welcome but advise in advance, perfect location, cozy, easy access for local sight seeing and there’s lots of places to go and see. There’s an M&S food at the garage about 200 metres away, good pub within walking distance but allow 30 mins there, and about an hour to get back in the dark 🙂 There is a microwave and induction hob with fridge and toaster in the kitchen but no oven, all you need unless you brought a pizza, no big deal we just froze it and had it when we got home. All in all a...
"A lovely traditional pub within striking distance of many beautiful places. The food was always great particularly the breakfast and came out wonderfully hot and on hot place which is so often an issue in other hotels. It's lovely to sit out in the garden and we were staying while the World Cup and Wimbledon were on and it was easy to catch the games in the evening but also lots of space to get away from the action.
All in all if you're looking for perfection and a name brand hotel for your...
