"My family and I spent a week at the Illume Taipei Hotel in March 2026, and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the housekeeping team is exceptional—the rooms were kept spotless with fresh towels provided daily. We were also very impressed by the front desk staff, who were consistently friendly and helpful. Beyond the hotel, we found the people in Taiwan to be incredibly kind and genuine. "I stayed in the hotel during the hotel’s redecoration, so the facilities is not so good, especially the route to the car parking is not clear enough so I spent too much time to come and back just in order to find the entrance of the parking lot. The truth is even their staff didn’t know where I can enter the parking lot.."

"We had a great time staying here for 3 days. If you don’t have time for MRT, Uber is the best way for quick get away and fare ain’t bad. From here to Maokong cost only $13 USD one way. $6 bucks to Taipei 101, walking 5-8min distance to night market. $43usd direct ride to Taojuan T2 airport.(early flight)"
