Staff was friendly. Hotel was nice, but there were ants in my room. And the first few nights had a foul smell from the bathroom---even more so after the room would be cleaned. Very strange. Sometimes my room wouldn't be stocked with the included bottled water. But this was minor and the receptionist would ensure water was supplied. Thank you for the lovely stay. Everyone was always smiling and kind - especially the morning restaurant crew and the men in the entrance, who were so very helpful with my taxis (I used bolt but the driver would be lost and these young men would always talk to the driver for me). Thanks especially to Aziz as he made sure to ask how my stay was going every single day I saw him and was the most helpful. A couple of annoying things about the hotel was that the restaurant on site was out of stock on majority of the items on the menu. So I would be instructed by the waiters, "this is not available, that is not available, etc." So very limited options to choose from. Secondly, I had to explain to almost every receptionist about my Gold member VIP status on hotels.com allowed me to have a free drink per night. Some of the staff made me feel as if I was lying or trying to get free stuff. But this was on my confirmation. Nonetheless, minor things overall. I loved my stay and thank everyone for providing such a good hotel to me. Great value!
