"For the last night of our honeymoon we chose the Chateau Tivoli for its history but what we most appreciated was the helpful attitude of staff, which made our stay and travel arrangements much easier.
Our room was a little small for the size of our luggage and the bathroom fittings (particularly the shower) had some awkward quirks but overall it was a charming place not too far from the waterfront and downtown."
"I was lucky to be able to book a room day of due to my other option not working out and I am so grateful. Check in was easy, I booked online and the website and reviews give an honest description of the hotel. In a fun area and transportation is very easy to navigate. For a cheap stay i would say you get what you pay for but I am just so happy I could get in on such late notice in a friday night. "
"Ok it is what it is, it’s cheap and in cool area. It ain’t 5 star by a long way but but bed was good and bathroom ok . So if you just want place to crash it’s ok but don’t expect a honeymoon suite"

"Really great hotel. 10 minute cable car ride to Pier 39. hotel security was good. Door is locked at night so I need a key to get into the building. Breakfast did not come with stay. Our room had great views of San Francisco very comfortable beds. Very quiet."
"I'm not sure there's a better low-option budget in San Francisco. The hotel is clean and well-maintained. Just be aware there is no AC, and my room got pretty buggy despite mild temps. I'd definitely stay again, but maybe bring in a window fan. Location is unbeatable, staff is incredible."
