After staying a week in Seminyak, this was exactly what I needed ! Away from the hustle, noise and trafiic of Seminyak, the Biyukukung offered solitude and a wonderful setting. Nestled around rice fields, I chose to memorize my stay y booking one of the bamboo 2 story huts for my stay. The hut was very clean and very comfortable with AC on the second floor where the bed was in addition to a small patio where I could relax, catch up on some reading amidst the rice fields. I would recommend this to anyone who needs some time away from Seminyak ( too busy... Too touristy... Too much hassle ). Since it is ringed by a rice field, there may be some mosquitos , but I did not find it too large of an issue. The staff were very helpful and the included breakfast, was actually quite good ( I would suggest telling them to cut down on the cooking oil, but this is quite minor compared to the overall experience ) There are multiple pools which were very clean and refreshing. I would recommend to anyone. Close to Monkey Forest and some shops... We were a bit tired from the total day's activities with the tiered rice fields walk, Coffee Plantation as well as Monkey Forest. The hotel was kind enough to shuttle us to Laka Leke for dinner where we enjoyed a good dinner as well as a traditional Balinese fire dance ( free at Laka Leke ). Laka Leke shuttled us back. Great coffee and croissants at Monsieur Spoon around the corner ( left and then left ) from hotel. Memorable.
