We stayed here for a week and loved exploring Ubud. The hotel is situated at the end of quite a long, rocky road, if u turn right when leaving the hotel it takes around 5 minutes to walk to town, 2 minutes to monkey forest. So rather good location. Breakfast is average at best, choice of watered down juice or slightly off fruit (pineapple/watermelon/papaya) NOT BOTH. Choice of bland green banana pancakes and eggs, which we got very nearly raw when we asked for boiled eggs. The toast, as everywhere in Bali comes without crust (or flavour) Mosquito net did not fit around bed, so we had to tuck it in all the way around the mattress, still didn't stop the mosquitos from getting in and biting us in the night.
Pool was nice, except the pump stopped working for a few days and looked gross, so we were told we should swim in the hotel next doors pool, which was actually nicer.
The bathroom was a bit outdated, but reasonably clean.
All in all we slept comfortably, no bugs! And quite close to everything we needed, the hotel also offers a free shuttle down the road into town, and are helpful with any tours u might want to do. Rafting was great for instance for only 50 aud pp.
