"The room was spotless, staff were so happy and helpful. The only thing was the road works were a pain to get in and out of the resort! I felt the free shuttle bus should have taken us further in town as it was a 20min walk it the humid heat. Or this should have been communicated before arrival. "

"Very roomy, friendly staffs, clean. Just 5-min from the monkey forest is just great! Foods/restaurants around the hotel are great too (Simond Boulangerie is surprisingly good, the croissants and baguettes remind me so much of Paris). Breakfast buffet is ok, I prefer to have more local/traditional foods than western-based (sausage, bacon, eggs, etc.). The only gripe I had was the TV was old, can't screen mirroring to my phone. All channels are grainy and lo-def. Overall, I'm happy with the stay, would return if I'm back to Ubud. "

"The location is perfect: so close to central Ubud, yet far enough away from the chaos to feel peaceful and relaxing. The on-site café/restaurant was fantastic, and I found a new favourite breakfast that I ordered every morning—the “Hot Monkey”! There are plenty of massage places nearby, ranging from local spots to more high-end options within the village. Also a short walk to more more food options. The rainfall shower was excellent, comfy day sofa and balcony seating - the staff were consistently warm, friendly, and helpful throughout my stay. A short walk next to the monkey forest and you’ll be in the central Ubud area. If you’re looking for a place with a true Balinese feel, away from boring, generic hotel rooms, this is the perfect base. Just remember there are monkeys around. I’d happily stay here again."
