"It’s about 20 minutes from the pier and the main town, but honestly, everything on the island takes 20–40 minutes to reach by motorbike. However, there’s a mini market right in front of the hotel, and they also sell gasoline, which is very convenient. The room was wonderful, but what really stood out was the bathroom. "We stayed in the 2 bedroom Praia Maia for 3 nights. We had an amazing time in the villa which had everything we needed. Having breakfast on the large terrace overlooking the sea, hanging in the hammock reading a book, cooling down in our own infinity pool or taking a stroll down to the beach and going in for a snorkel. Couldn't have asked for anything more!"

"I didn’t even stay at it and what I paid was lost, the property was so dirty and unsafe. There was a dog entering the pool. Mosquitos everywhere. No communication around the area and the wifi wasn’t working. The furniture is so old and bathroom is dirty with no toothbrushes, shampoos, conditioners.. etc. the pictures were so fake and I hope I can get my money back as I went to another hotel and didn’t sleep there at all."

"I love this resort. It’s so beautiful. My room was fantastic, clean and perfect position to the pools and restaurants. I stayed 7 years ago and was happy to be back. There is construction of the beach area at the moment so the noise and fumes were not the best, but it stopped around 5pm. The resort was kind enough to have a free shuttle service to Virgin Beach which was beautiful. Staff were very apologetic. It’s not the resort’s fault. Food in the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner was amazing. Love the staff. Thank you everyone. "
