Good location on the beach
Tartaruga Hotel is not the same as Tartaruga Beach Resort. The people who own it should just hurry up and tear down the "hotel" and expand the resort. The room felt very old and dated. Even with all of the lights on it was a dark cave and hard to see anything without using a flashlight (for finding stuff in luggage). Otherwise the hotel is fine. Very helpful and friendly staff. Rooms don't have any view of the beach due to layout. But the hotel and resort have a giant area of beach chairs and tables for dining. Food is good. The hotel and resort have two bars and play music at a fairly "party-level" volume until 10pm or so. It's more of a party hotel than a peaceful resort. But all in all a decent place to stay for a night.

Comfortable staying just on the beach
We were staying in ground floor family room. Room was nice and little garden terrace. Very good beds. Good and pleasant breakfast in upper restaurant. Beautiful. Staff in reseption was very very friendly and helpfull. Nice little pool. Good beach, lot of life and sunbets. Everything is near in this place. Could gome again. I recommend.
