"We always stay here when visiting my daughter at WVU, but this time I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the room. There were red stains on the carpet, the corners of the showers had dirt and mold and I had to clean the A/C filters which were so thick with dust and dirt that the unit was struggling to work. Plus the outside garbage pails were not emptied often enough and were overflowing with trash at times."

"Always a great stay. Conveniently located. Amenities were clean and operational. Staff is nice. Rooms and common areas are clean. AC and heat worked great. Only negative is that I forgot my shampoo and had to use theirs and it was basically water. But that’s IF I had to complain about something. "

"I booked 2 nights and had to cancel the second night and switch hotels. My room reeked of weed the entire stay, the beds and pillows were terrible uncomfortable, the AC unit was loud and my toilet ran off and on all night. The price was inexpensive so I jumped on it because I expected better from a Wyndham. No one was ever at the front desk. Only positive was the coffee machine in the lobby "

"We had a very fast check in and check out. Rooms were clean. A little outdated but better than a lot of the other hotels we saw available. The pool was very large and nice! Very clean. I location is perfect. So many food choices around. We LOVED the complimentary breakfast. So many options and it was food to keep you fuel. It was better that high end continental breakfast options we have had previously. We were really blown away by it. We would stay again. "

"Was given a handicap room- asked to switch. Couldn’t. Bathroom sink was very small, hard to get ready. Shower was handicap accessible so incredibly small because there was a built in chair. The room had no hot water so had to shower in an a different room. "

"Old man in the pool are was hitting on our daughter only to find out he didn’t even stay at the hotel so no security in place to keep people out and don’t expect good customer service from the employees. "

"We did not have the best stay on this trip. The toilet did not work in the first room so we needed to relocate to another room. The nightstand lamp did not work. The remote did not turn the tv off. The tv volume maximim setting was barely sufficient to hear it from the bed. The room was on the first floor with the window facing the back parking lot; each morning around daybreak the big trucks would idle loudly for 20 minutes. The shower sounded like a huge whistling tea kettle for some unknown reason. The indoor pool was not open. The staff was very attentive and courteous to meet our needs. The breakfast was good and the lady that keeps everything fully stocked and clean was very friendly and efficient. Overall, this Holiday Inn Express was good for the nightly rate but needs some TLC. "
