"We had a lovely stay in the Hotel Melchior Park, Würzburg. It’s a little way out of the historic centre but right on a good bus route (very cheap and direct service to the centre). Hotel was immaculately clean, very quiet and all the staff we met were very friendly and efficient. Our room had a full balcony and overlooked the ‘natural’ outdoor pool. We’d definitely stay here again if we went back to Wurzburg."

"Modern hotel, about a fifteen-minute walk from the hustle and bustle of Würzburg. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were nice. Parking was easy in the complex behind the hotel. We also used their excellent gym, which was nicely equipped. The area was quiet with great views of the hills."

"Wahlfisch is an excellent choice of hotels right on the Main River and within minutes to shopping and attractions in Würzburg. The twin beds in single rooms is not what Americans are typically used to, but they are comfortable and adequate. "

"I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The woman at the front counter was able to get me into my room earlier than expected, so that was a big plus. It is in a convenient area where it's fairly close to everything like the town center. It was about a 15 min walk to the hotel from Wurzburg Hbf."

"Excellent hotel in a great location, easy to access the tram or better to walk along the path by the river into town. We didn't breakfast at the hotel it was a bit busy. But very good little bakery just down the lane in front of the hotel. Just be aware that the booking and assess the your room number and pin code is only available via the web page and then wasn't obvious to find, connection on 3g was very slow. It would be better if this info was in the email. "

"This hotel is older, but very well-kept. Rooms were always kept clean and neat, the bed was comfortable, and the room came with a couple of fans to help with the warmth (very important on the top floor!). Also, the hotel is a two minute walk from Würzburg's downtown; close enough to be easily accessible, but far enough away not to be bothered by the night life. Would definitely recommend!"

"The room was very clean and simple, but not expensive. The hotel is quite close to the central station and a supermarket, which was very convenient. We stayed on the 15th floor. I was worried about the waiting time for the elevators, but the hotel has three elevators, so we were able to reach our room smoothly. However, the windows cannot be opened, and the room felt quite dry. "

"Room was excellent and had a great view of Würzburg. Hotel is easy walking distance from city center and train station. Highly recommend adding breakfast to your stay: buffet was an amazingly large array of food items to tempt any appetite. Facility well maintained with a welcoming, helpful staff. Will definitely stay here again."
