"What a lovely find!! I had a fabulous stay at this hidden gem that's just a short (5-min.) drive away from the main strip. (missed the memo about this one). I prefer to be close enough to the middle of downtown PS to walk, but I can work with it because this spot is SO perfect: quiet, quaint, friendly/helpful staff as well as the bonus of a continental breakfast and happy hour. Definitely recommending to my friends seeking an adult-only experience. "

A couple of areas could be improved though — the pool could use more umbrellas for shade, and our room had a weird plumbing smell. "This place is a bit dated and needs some updates but the accommodations were large, everything was very clean and the staff are very nice. Units have everything you need and were comfortable. I would stay again. Pro tip: if you go, eat at Manhattan in the Desert restaurant that is located next door."

"Palm Spring experienced a March heatwave with temperatures up to 102f. Our suite was on the top floor and the aircon was inadequate to manage a reasonable room temperature so we slept very badly. A rather unsympathetic maintenance man, with his very pleasant assistant, visited and adjusted the vents. However, this just made things even worse. Finally, we were moved to a lower floor, and the temperature was OK. Not the sort of thing one expects from a 4star+ hotel at $400+ per night im Palm Springs which frequently endures these temperatures in the summer months. This is not our first stay at this hotel which is, in all other respects, absolutely outstanding with a wonderful pool area, sumptuously well- equipped gym .... I could go on!"
