"Overall, great experience. Staff were very nice. Resort rules can be quite restrictive, We were stopped multiple times due to not having either a bottom or being a little wet to go to the food area. We had sarongs and were pretty much dry. We are in the middle of the beach and pool for goodness sake! The beach and pool were the best parts! "

"Staff attentive and warm. Room had great views though lacked any closets or armoires to hang up clothes even though there were multiple areas that could have accommodated such. A/c worked great. Daily breakfast buffet was actually $13 per pp w tax and service fee but still a good value. Proprietor was traveling but still sent messages to welcome us and verify that we were pleased the lodging. He even provided us w one day of free breakfast due to the error listing cost at $10 on Expedia. Many good Restaurants were walkable. Beach was swimmable about 2/3 the time due to rough surf. Elevator out of service for some time apparently."

"Poor treatment by the staff. Air conditioning and electricity weren’t working in the room, the bartender was terrible and my family and I were ignored by them many times. This is the first time I have an experience like that "

"I recently stayed at the Viva Wyndham all-inclusive hotel and had a mixed but overall decent experience. Starting with the positives, the room was very clean and well-maintained throughout my stay, which made a great first impression. The air conditioning worked exceptionally well—definitely a big plus, especially in the warmer climate. The staff truly stood out; everyone I interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and eager to help, which added a lot to the overall experience. The hotel also has two bars that were both enjoyable, offering a good atmosphere and solid drink options. However, there are several areas that need improvement. The food was probably the biggest disappointment. While there was variety, it lacked authenticity and flavor. Introducing more authentic and diverse food options would significantly enhance the dining experience. Another issue was the entertainment setup. The entertainment area is not enclosed, and the noise carries late into the night, making it difficult for guests to get proper rest. Enclosing this space or better managing sound levels would make a big difference. The beach is inconveniently located about a 3–5 minute walk from the hotel, which a little bit farther than expected, and the resort itself seems understaffed. Because of this, not all restaurants are open daily—typically one is closed, while the others are often fully booked, making it frustrating to plan for dinner. In summary, while the hotel has some strong points—particularly "
