"The 'muchachos' were very helpful and responsive to requests. They speak both English and Spanish. They organised taxis as needed, were very flexible to time of serving meals, and provided advice to seeing the sights. Rooms were clean the the place felt very comfortable and welcoming. "We drove around for 1/2 hour searching for this hotel, up and down dirt roads in a 4x4. Could not find it.
Phoned the hotel, no answer.
So we booked another hotel down the highway.

"The hotel is right next to Puno mercado. The building isn’t new, but it was warm at night and the water in the shower was hot (no shampoo provided). We enjoyed breakfast and the staff is very caring and easy to communicate. After all, its a budget hotel, and for the money - a great value."
"The hotel itself was great, but we had a hiccup with the management as they insisted that we pay for the room after we showed them the receipt that we already paid with Expedia.
As soon as we got Expedia involved, they reimbursed us, but it was frustrating to deal with while tired from traveling.
