"Do not spend the money for this horribly outdated hotel! You are much better off staying at an "apartment" that one of the locals can provide. I am not an overly picky hotel guest, and I come from a Croatian background, so I normally cut hotels some slack in Croatia, knowing that they are not quite what I would expect in North America, but I couldn't wait to leave this horrible relic from the old communist days of tourism. "Clean, quiet, newly refurbished, complete small kitchen, in the middle of Old Town on a quiet pedestrian street. Only downsides: 1. The owner only accepts cash euros and ATMs in Croatia charge an exorbitant 15%, and 2. The owner is not on premises and sent an email with entry code on our day of arrival, which we did not receive because we did not have data or WiFi that day. Had a bystander call the number on the door and he arrived promptly. "
