Bentleigh Motor Inn- Coffs Harbour
8/10 Good
"Loved that the property was not far off the main road (I was a through traveller so that was welcomed). Of course there was traffic noise and if that bothers you ask for a room to the rear. Locations means food, shops and other venues are within a walking distance if thatโs your thing. Thereโs some under-cover parking and the carpark is in a โUโ shaped court-yard. I was on a motorcycle, meaning I felt comfortable that the parking option meant that grubby prying hands were less likely. Room was clean and tidy, if a little musty on the nose. But thatโs probs due to a humid environment. Total kudos shout-out to the only hotel/motel/resort that Iโve stayed-in for the last 15 years that has provided pillows a human uses!! Not ornate oversized super soft pillows that wrap around your face and try to suffocate you while offering zero pillow value, but real, proper pillows for people and not a magazine cover! Yeah, that made me happy. They also provided fresh milk on-arrival meaning a cup of tea (of instant coffee) was available and not milked by that horrid UHT flavour! The shower head was at the height for Hobbits and Iโm sure Bilbo is probs a bit tall for itโฆBut the water pressure and hot water was awesome and would easily defeat I recommend the venue and I will stay again."

"The room was in excellent condition and the bathroom was very nice too. Only problem was the band playing in the pub downstairs. I was tired. Other than that, excellent all round and happy to stay there again. Sad that it was cheaper to book on line than as a walk in. It would be nice for the business to get all the money, not an os company."

"Very small room with no room for two people to sit on chairs and very tight space to open luggage. Cleaner room, bathroom was very small and there was the warning not to have the bathroom door open whilst showering as the steam may set off the smoke detector alarm!?!! The pub next door was noisy till late, and their food prices had drastically risen since our last visit two years ago. Overall still good value comparatively to other places at short notice."
