"Well located in the old city of Valletta, and in a very well done conversion of lovely old buildings. The staff were friendly, welcoming and very professional. Our bedroom was very generously sized with windows opening onto a light well in the centre of the building. One minor criticism was a lack of drawers for clothes that don't hang up. There would have been ample room for a chest of drawers but it meant leaving some clothes in our cases. The roof terrace area and pool is a great asset. Breakfast choices were great with a variety to suit all tastes. Would be very happy to stay at Palais Le Brun again."

"The room i had (duplex suite) was larger than I expected, i very impressed. It clean and very well appointed. Access was easy through a Starbucks and to a private elevator for hotel guests. I found the location perfect for walking around the old town of Valletta and seeing the sights. Although the street where the hotel is located doesn't allow vehicles it was only a 4/5 minutes walk from the taxi drop off opposite the Triton Fountain public square and the city's bus station.. Even though it's location is in a busy part of Valletta you don't hear the noise at all . The rooms come with muti regional plug sockets so you don't to bring an adaptor for your UK appliances such as to use your UK phone charger. I found the staff to be very polite, friendly and a credit to the hotel. For a 3* hotel I was beyond impressed..and would gladly stay there again in a heartbeat "

"Beautiful hotel with lots of character. Breakfast is wonderful a la carte. Very close to main streets in Valletta. Uber and Bolt both 1-2 minutes wait time. "

"We had an excellent stay at the Cumberland Hotel and found it offered high standards in all areas, including reception, room cleanliness and facilities, and a varied and delicious breakfast. We found all the staff to be extremely welcoming and friendly and were highly impressed by the speed in which a problem with a loose tap in our bathroom was dealt with. The hotel is located in a very central location in the beautiful city of Valletta and we really miss hearing the bells of St John's Cathedral close by. Our only suggestion for improvement would be the addition of sun parasols for seating on the roof terrace as the high temperatures prevented any possibility of relaxing there for more than a few minutes. An all round most enjoyable stay though."
