"In a great location with lots of places to eat around and close to many activities. Property run down. Sign broken. Drawers without handles. Door does not open properly even saw neighbors having trouble. Paint peeling and various other things of building deteriorating. Broken washer. Room had an unpleasant smell. Breakfast had only a couple of cereals, waffle maker, and juice machine. Fridge was empty. For a place with big sign “free breakfast” this is not what is expected. Overall, shower and bed was fine and that was it. Not what one would expect from a Howard Johnson. "

"Excellent for a family trip"

"Going to be honest, this was one of the worst places I’ve stayed. The staff were friendly and did their best, but the hotel itself was very dirty and poorly maintained. There was constant noise, especially trains passing by throughout the night, which made it hard to sleep. The area also felt unsafe and not somewhere I’d want to stay again. Save your money and book somewhere else. You expect to get what you pay for, but this stay was not worth the cost at all."
