We took a private boat from the airport directly to the hotel. Upon arriving, the staff was so friendly and accommodating. We had a junior suite with canal view and found the room to be spacious and comfortable. Generous breakfasts were provided each morning, and the hotel’s restaurant easily rivals any other restaurant in Venice!

Lovely hotel near everything in Venice
My wife and I and our two kids absolutely loved our time at Locanda La Corte. The hotel is on a canal, and in a quiet neighborhood close to everything you’d want to see in Venice. The staff was very friendly and helpful (even before our trip), and the room was clean and comfortable. We had the family room, which is actually two rooms (though no doors between them) with two bathrooms. The restaurant is fantastic, and we very much enjoyed the open seating area next to the canal. We definitely would stay here again should we return to Venice!

Service excellence!
The hotel is well located and very pretty. The rooms were a good size, and comfortable beds. Showers are small and finishes are outdated. Tea & Coffee complimentary in room. Good breakfast and coffee. The best part for us was the superb service from the staff, very helpful, very caring. Downside is the size of the showers.

Excellent hotel
Loved our stay, the location was just far enough away from the crowds but close enough to get everywhere quickly. The room was large and had a great view of the canal. The breakfast area was charming. We would definitely stay there again.

This is a wonderful place to make memories. We had a warm welcome from all the staff, they made us feel at home every single day. The property is beautiful, well maintained clean and in a really great location. The breakfast is very nice with an attentive staff who make delicious coffees. The restaurant is the place to be with amazing food options, and it is vibrant at night with live music and a great atmosphere. This we be our place to stay everytime we come.

Friendly property in a central but quiet area. In a lively hoyae on the canel. Staff were really friendly & helpful before & during our stay. Traditional but big rooms. Clean & modern shared area's. The hotels linked pizzeria & pasta restaurant was excellent & well worth a visit.

La Corte was a lovely out of the insane tourist area. It would have helped if we had known you could reach it from the Oespitale stop instead of Rialto bridge.

The staff was very helpful.The property was clean, and the resturant was excellent.It was far enough away from the busy centre of the city but only a short walk to all the attractions.The only fault I would say was that my bed seemed to be on a bit of a slant, oh well, I guess thats Venice!

The location was very nice being out of the busy tourist area but not far...maybe a a 5 minute walk to the real tourist areas. The staff were very helpful and friendly, bed nice. My only real complaint was the shower was very tiny. I could survive it but anyone larger would not be able to.

In busy Venice, this hotel was a welcome escape. It was quiet and cool with very comfy beds. Breakfast was amazing and a great way to start a day of sightseeing. This place had great style and lovely little touches like a sitting area right next to the canal. It was an easy walk to everywhere we wanted to go but still far away from the painfully busy areas to avoid huge crowds and experience a quieter Venice.

It’s well located and at walkable distance from all major attractions F. Te. Nova is near by so we did not have to struggle to travel to and from airport/train station as there were frequent water bus services.

Great trip! We were in an apartment with lots of room for a family of 4. Room had a lot of amenities, and was in a great location. The best part was the large window looking out on the waterway, so we could watch gondolas and other boats going by.

lovely hotel, perfect location, not far from St Marks Square but not in a busy area. Gorgeous veranda just off main reception, perfect for watching the gondolas go by. Room was great, plenty of breakfast and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

A hidden gem in Venice.
Great hotel. Solid location away from the crowds. Perfect enclave to have a cocktail and watch the gondolas. Very, very kind staff. Would for sure recommend.

It seemed very authentic Venetian. The room was gorgeous with it's tapestry walls, and chandelier, and heavy draperies. The staff and the hotel were wonderful. It was great having the courtyard, and the little deck on the canal. The inside dining was super, food was delicious, with a little entertainment to enjoy as well. We had a fabulous stay.

The Hotel is very easily accessible, as it is located just next to a canal. The water taxi dropped us at the jetty adjacent to the Hotel. The reception staff came to the jetty and helped us in carrying the heavier bags to the hotel. Check in took just a couple of minutes and we were in our room. Our room was located on the second floor, which was a little problem for us being senior citizens, but we managed. The hotel is located very close to the Rialto Bridge, which is the centre of the town and we could easily walk to the nearby restaurants for meals and shopping. The buffet breakfast, next morning was sumptuous, warm and tasty. The Cappucino was very good. overall a very enjoyable stay. The only negative point was the confusion created by the charging of one days room tariff from the credit card, soon after making the booking on Expedia website. Though the charges were reversed, as I was travelling thereafter, I could not confirm whether I had been charged for one days tariff or not.

An amazing large clean apartment on a quiet canal in Venice. What a view! All the amenities you need for a weekend with the family in Venice. Everything was within walking distance and you can watch the gondolas from your room!

Location of hotel was good. Easy to walk to all the main sights. The staff were really helpful and friendly. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and stayed until Monday. Our room (111) unfortunately had no view at all- outside the window was a concrete yard with a massive hole dug out of it, which was a real shame. The room itself was in Venetian style which was nice. ( I would advise that there is no room service at the hotel, so you need to just ask reception for milk if you need it for tea/coffees in the room). In our room there was one spare plug socket in our room, so we either had to unplug the lamp to use the kettle, or perch the kettle carefully on the small bedside table. We did ask for multi-socket plug but it unfortunately never came during our stay. The bathroom was a good size but the shower was absolutely tiny, with no bath. Other guests mentioned the same. Breakfast was really pleasant in their own leafy courtyard. Would recommend getting there early as they tended to run out of items towards the end ( pain au chocolat and watermelon) There is a fabulous little area by the reception desk where you can sit overlooking one of the canals. Absolutely beautiful spot to spend time with an Italian coffee! For the evenings, other guests mentioned that the adjoining restaurant was very good, with live music. We tended to explore a bit and eat out. We had been to Venice before and overall we had a lovely stay. The hotel just needs a little attention to detail.

Three days in Venice.
We liked the location, that was a little out of the tourist areas but close to everything. I liked the room facing the canal. We had an excellent meal at the restaurant connected with the hotel. I would stay there again. The hotel provides clear directions for arriving at the hotel and walking there is fine if you don't have a lot of luggage. If you walk from Punta Nuova, there are a number of bridges that make hauling large luggage a chore. No problem with lighter, carryon luggage.
