Two hours after I checked in the front desk called my room 4 times accusing me of not paying for my transfer. The next day their was a leak coming from upstairs and my entire floor was flooded. I had to switch rooms LOUD AC AND MILDWE SMELL AWFUL

The dated property is evident right from the lobby. The main pool is missing so many sections from the floor it’s surprising they allow it to remain open. 2 restaurants and a buffet but the buffet pretty much serves everything you find at the 2 restaurants. The room is very standard, our fridge didn’t work and the curtains left a gap for sunlight to creep in. We got bit by bugs in and around the room so after one night we decided to leave early.

The hotel is beautiful very clean. The food choices for it to be a dreams hotel was very limited. The desert and fruit area was very limited. The staff moved with no urgency. Having to chase somebody down in the restaurants so they can at least take your drink orders. When going to the “preferred” areas for food there is little to no staff which lead us to not staying and going to the buffet. We payed for preferred and didn’t get to fully enjoy it. The preferred bar by the pool was great tho. The bartender he was great ! Everyone was very friendly though. The most upsetting part was being woken up at 8am multiple times throughout the stay by housekeeping asking if we wanted our room cleaned ! Overall it was a nice hotel just lacked staff and service

The Rooms are nice but moldy and towels have stains impressing improper laundry. Overall it is a beautiful property and will definitely go back there as well as recommend it to everyone. Keep up the work in improving it.

Here’s the good the bad and the ugly. The good: weather and location were great. Many of the service and bartending staff were nice and accommodating. The bad: The whole property is in serious need of an upgrade. The privilege pool area was fine but the regular pool had tiles missing and you can cut a toe on the bottom surface. Rooms could use some upgrading but overall, the housekeeping staff kept them clean. Although, they never provided more than 3 towels for our family of 4. The ugly: The food was definitely subpar for any all inclusive resort we have been to. No variation in food and just plain bad. Pretty sure the Alfredo pasta at Portofino was a lean cuisine frozen meal. Their beef dish at Portofino was the beef lasagna, which was dry and over done. We were offered a special wine room experience for free one night, later to be told it was an additional $300, which our friend paid in cash, and the managerial staff claimed that they could not refund due to it being on a credit card. Later she admitted it was on her pocket. Not Dream quality at all. We have been to many in Mexico, and this doesn’t even remotely care.

This hotel urgently needs some investment! The location is great but you can see they run it on lowest cost possible. Nothing compared to a dreams in Mexico. Main staff is great, but the sales people from the unlimited club are beyond annoying

Staff at the property were excellent! The room smelled a bit musty, but it was clean. Hotel needs an update, but very nice grounds. Breakfast was great, the French restaurant was awesome, the rest of the food was less than average. Overall I liked it!

my trip to Panama for the weekend was great. everything was easy to coordinate and map out for daily plans. Victor was a great concierge for my wife and i. recommendations for dinner at La Fisheria was really appreciative. welcoming us to Panama gave me the satisfaction i can come here again without a doubt and do it all over again. The rooms on the “Rainforest” side are terribly in need of a remodel and very dirty. The bathrooms are disgusting and the cleaning they do is very minimal. Door to bathroom is rotten and pieces of it fall off every time it is opened. They also have a moldy smell to them. Would not recommend.

The property is somewhat dated and requires a fair amount of building maintenance – especially the pool areas. This is not really a beach resort – due to the tidal currents expect yellow or red flags indicating dangerous conditions daily. Very few guests ventured into the ocean. In addition, there is very limited activities (water) available for guests. There are only four restaurants in this resort: Italian, French & Seafood with table service. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are buffet style with Lunch & Dinner at an open-air restaurant. Food quality is average at best, however there was a fair amount of local fare available at the buffets. This resort has three major pool areas with one reserved for preferred club guests only. There are no Jacuzzi’s at this location, also there is fairly limited outdoor activities. They do have an extensive kid’s club area that is fully staffed and secure for families. The biggest plus for this resort is their staff is very personable. The biggest negative is that this resort is it’s location which is about 40 KM from Tocumen airport and approximately 30 minutes from downtown Panama City. It is adjacent to a Westin Resort/Hotel. Overall, I gave the Resort an Average Rating, nothing was outstanding. For an all-inclusive resort their selection of alcoholic beverages was very limited – including at the “upgraded” preferred club). Bottom line – this resort tends to attract an older crowd and some families with kids; however, it is very quiet.

The property is beautiful. Unfortunately, we had a series of problems from day one which made it difficult to enjoy our stay. The first room had a flood in it when we arrived, the second room had mold growing up the walls. One day a local group of prostitutes along with there pimps showed up and took over the pool area, bar and lunch areas so that those of us who paid a lot to stay there were unable to get drinks or food. Those of us who were disgusted by their behavior had to leave the area. The staff must have known them because they catered to them. This was very disturbing

The property was beautiful although could use some updating. The overall staff were friendly and helpful. The food was good. Nightly entertainment needs improvement. The beach was no good for swimming. The service staff most times spoke no English making it difficult to communicate, especially for items like missing towels in bathroom, extra pillows, non working room phone. It usually took a long time to get the items due to communication. The hotel should take time to provide classes for all staff to learn English, no matter in what capacity they are employed as they do have to interact with the guests, most of whom appear to be English speaking.

The resort doesn’t have no entertainment, the seafood restaurant never opened, the prefer club has no top shelf liquor and the food is horrible. There is absolutely no entertainment. They allow children to sit and drink at the bar. This resort is for elderly people it’s not worth staying at
