I stayed there for a week traveling from united state was given a option to upgrade the room which i took the view was excellent and then staffing was great.its a little bit out dated but if you like vintage it's a good place to stay.

The staff was very friendly. The rooms where nice but the showers definitely need an upgrade. The breakfast is fantastic but the dinner food not so much. Overall we enjoyed it. It’s a good affordable option.

The security was lacking. In the middle of the night someone came knocking on our door to let him in. Scared the my wife very much, and then there are no instructions in the room on what number to call for desk service or security-related issues. I finally was able to call and ask to send security. Never heard back from them. Over all we would not recommand and will not be back.

Family vacations at Veracruz

Front desk attendant Wendy was very polite she attendant or needs with a superv service . She had no problem and attended my request for a second key for both of the rooms I rented . The room was very comfy and had a good view of the city and part of the shore line . The bell boy was very help full in pointing near by places to start our vacation adventure in the city . Our car was taken by car valet and was very good taken care off it was parked very near the hotel parking lot that has closed circuit cameras . The location is awesome of the hotel every thing and I do mean everything is in a walking distance . Give this hotel a try you will not be disappointed . Also try the bar it is a small one but the music is loud and really good our lady d.j was the best she took in requests from our table . Had a piña colada a cuba libre drink and some beers!! Very affordable prices . Thumbs up again for all staff ... Only the manager at the time he was very serious person would hurt if he would be more friendly and pop a smile from time to time . Customers love to feel welcome and appreciated ... Thank you Wendy again you are the best

Mold and moisture everywhere. No AC in the hallways- yikes Well, I just stayed 2 days in this hotel, located directly at the sea promenade. We had to change the rooms 2x due to massive mold odor anywhere. This is a place to become asthmatic if you stay more than 2 hours in these rooms. Avoid the third floor. It reeks of mold as they are cheap and don’t use ac in the hallways. Especially the third floor is outright disgusting. Their superior rooms aren’t bad but not worth the money at all. You get a coffee maker and at least the air condition. I stayed in room 222 which was more or less satisfactory although no sea view at all. It’s an old, decrepit hotel which caters to locals. It’s straight out of 1965. Don’t trust any reviews above 2 stars as people in these hotels don’t know better. I stay another couple of days at the Doubletree , much better. If you can afford it, just get a real hotel instead of this shed. Staff was nice but not really helpful. Why should they….they have to deal with these hordes their entire life.

Está bien para ahorrar un dinero y estar frente al malecón, pero no si para usted es importante la calidad de los muebles en la habitación para disfrutar de unas buenas vacaciones. Una parte del espaldar de la butaca o asiento estaba rota, la silla de escritorio se observó ya desgastada, la loza del suelo de la regadera es vieja, el burro de la plancha necesita una buena base para que la ropa pueda plancharse, los colchones son de plástico (no son cómodos), la cama cuenta solo con una delgada sábana y cubre camas, y lo que debe ser la cobija es más una tela como de cortinas. En fin, no volvería a este hotel. Prefiero pagar el doble y disfrutar de una amena estadía.

Tenía ya reservación y se supone el check in es a las 3. Llegué a las 3:30 y para que me pudieran dar la habitación fueron 2 horas esperando a que la tuvieran “lista” pésimo eso que te dejen esperando cuando uno viene cansado del viaje. Limpia la habitación que me tocó. También algo malo como estaba en el 4to piso no me llegaba la señal del wifi.
