"Wonderful location in an enchanted city. Canal view rooms are delightful. Good breakfast. Some steep stairs yet there is a small elevator too. We had a fire alarm at 4am. Alleged Smoker in an upstairs room. Fire brigade had to come sweep the bldg. A Swiss business man says he loves the place, comes often, but there have been other fire alarms. Just so you know."

"Breakfast was great however go down to eat before 9am otherwise all eggs, bacon are gone, the only criticism is the staff are not that quick at replenishing these."

"The room was super clean and the bed was very comfortable. The only issue I had was there was one little tiny garbage can. I guess there was one other thing too, I was there for eight days, and there was only a rod for hanging all of my wife’s and my clothes on. There was no dresser, no closet or anything like that. Other than that, I have zero complaints. They’ll see Mike pretty simple things to fix. Even if they had a bigger rod to hang your clothes on."

"Lovely and helpful staff, very friendly. Room I was in was clean and spacious, the only thing I struggled with was the pillows (they were too soft for me). In a quiet neighbourhood, about 20 minute walk to the train station, and 10 minutes to the centre, this was a great little find. Would definitely stay here again! "
