"My room was clean and very quiet on the third floor. I was in Tuscaloosa to visit my daughter at the University of Alabama. I did not eat breakfast. My only problem with the stay was the pot smoking on the third floor. It reaked when I exited the elevator all the way to my room. Once in my room, I put a towel at the bottom of my room door in order to keep the smell out. I needed a place to sleep at night and didn't want to spend a lot of money and this place fit the bill."

"I got placed here last minute by VRBO after our rental was cancelled by the owner. I read the reviews here and was honestly scared of what we were walking into. It's not beautiful on the outside, no real amenities but if you need a clean place to sleep then this is fine. There are no bugs, no weird things happening in the parking lot, no one stealing anything or trying to keep your security deposit. The staff was lovely. The room was clean and that's all we needed. It's in a location that made it easy for us to get anywhere we needed to go."

"Over all stay was good. Booked the room on Expedia which was nice and easy. Upon checking in at the hotel the clerk had me run my card for “incidentals”. Ran it 2 times and each time my card was charged and immediately refunded. 3 time it took but none of them showed up on the hotel screen. All in all it took about 20 minutes to get manager to waive the process. "

"The hotel was nice. It was clean for the most part. The breakfast was great. However there was mold in the bathtub where the soapdish connects to the wall, mold around the drain in the tub and worst of all when I touched the towel to the bathroom sink faucet (underside where the water comes out) I almost died. Mold or something black on the towel…i did it again and there was more. I had been using the sink water to drink. Obviously we had to make a run to the store to buy bottled water. It was cheap and we needed a hotel room last minute for a graduation…so I am thankful they had a room."
