Staying at the Dhavara " boutique hotel" was one of the most disappointing experiences we had while visiting Vientiane, as this hotel is a total trap. Upon arrival we were given only one plastic card key, which made it impossible to charge any of our gadgets when leaving the room. Later we demanded a 2nd key that was charged to our bill U$10,00.
Breakfast has very little variety of fresh fruits, breads,or juices. They serve powder juices, when you ask a glass of fresh squeezed orange juice they will charge extra U$9,00.
The staff is rude, and badly trained, we asked to see the hotel manager and we were told that the manager was on holiday. For a hotel that charges £130 a night it was a complete disgrace. It;s a hotel for Asian only, the shower head is about 1.50cm high so if you are taller than 1,70cm you will have to bent to have a shower or see yourself in the mirror.
Stay away from this hotel.
