I would say that my stay was phenomenal, the location, hotel, my room, including the staff were all 5 stars, the morning breakfast buffet including dinner was just amazing, like a fine dine experience every-time. If you are debating on staying anywhere else, choose Realis Paradiso Amalfi, you’ll be delighted. Cant wait to stay here again

Lovely hotel. Stunning views over the Amalfi coast. Helpful friendly staff. Great location for visiting Pompeii, Paestum, Herculaneum and Naples. Short walk to local town - but no pavements!

The hotel was beautiful, but what made it so special was the staff. From the moment we arrived we were greeted and made to feel special and welcomed with open arms, and a freshly squeezed lemon drink. The dining dinner menu created by Chef Andre was exquisite. From appetizers to deserts and everything in between we were always amazed at the mouth watering taste's. Our server Mauro made the experience even more fantastic with his attention to details, his friendliness and knowledge and his ability to fully communicate in English was fabulous. He was also so helpful in helping me improve my Italian. We loved the dining experience so much that we simply chose this to be our regular dinner restaurant for our entire stay in the area. And then the entire concierge team was extraordinary in guiding us not only to local attractions, but also to our future destination stops in Italy. I can’t say enough about Carmelo who gave us so much information about our next stops with suggestions on must see towns, tours and restaurants. He is one of the most fascinating and friendly person you will ever meet with incredible knowledge of Italy. For an absolute fabulous stay in or around Salerno area I highly recommend the Relais Paradiso.

Nice boutique hotel in quiet area. Good for a short stay but a little problematic without a car rental if you want to go to Amalfi.

Very friendly and helpful staff , nothing was too much trouble . Super views from the balcony where breakfast was served . Room was perfect , had a comfortable bed and great shower . Our large balcony / outdoor sitting area led directly to the main pool area . Hotel provided a shuttle bus that could be booked to the local town , but it’s also walkable. The public bus also stopped right outside the hotel . Dinner seemed expensive and lots of choice in the town so we didn’t eat in the hotel restaurant . Would definitely stay again .

Great property with views along the Amalfi coast, I will definitely stay here again. The restaurant menu is limited but very good quality, they could do with some snack options. The breakfast was excellent, much better than expected. There is no Coffee or Tea facilities in the room, and the swimming pool was out-of-order, which was a shame.

The hotel itself is not bad. Our first night we were very tired and did not feel like taking a taxi down to the town for dinner. We decided to get food at their restaurant. My wife ended up getting food poisoning. Next morning when I asked the front desk to please bring me down to the town because I need to go to a farmacia to grab medicine. He told me to walk it’s only 10 min walk. Yea right 30 min walk later I got to the town. If you don’t get a taxi back you are hiking up a mountain back to hotel. If you stay here do not eat at restaurant. Go downtown. ( waiter was friendly)

Check in was at 2pm and they said the pool was open until 10 but when we wanted to use it at 7 they said it closed at 6. One person in our group had a view of the pool from their room and there were people in the pool! Bathtub didn’t work, AC wasn’t good. Didn’t feel welcomed here and impression was it wasn’t worth the money or a 5 star hotel.

Disappointment

We had a wellcoming experience and the staff was mostly friendly. The restaurant is very nice and Antonio and his crew brilliant. We however complained in the lobby about being in a standard room with no view when we had booked and payed for a deluxe room with ocean view. The staff did not listen or take our complaint seriously and we did not get any appologise or offer to change. We had our booking to show but they did not seem interested, said eweritjing was fully booked. Our room opened into another’s guest room while we where there and we could enter someone’s elses room and stuff one night. The door between the rooms was probably somehow insecure or had been opened by staff and not closed securely. Another thing to critisise is that there is no spa there like they say in the info. There is a swimming pool and beautiful area but the spa is in another hotel owned by the same people. We had some rainy days and did not have a car. It is not easy to walk around the are because of traffic. I would recommend a car if you stay there. In general, nice if the weather is good, nice restaurant, nice swimming pool area. Not so good if there is somethong wrong like mistake they made or the location if bad weather. Expensive to pay for deluxe room with a spa when you don’t see these things.

Really super hotel with Very friendly and helpful staff - nothing was too much trouble . Very comfortable and clean room with large balcony that led to the main pool area. Stunning views from the outside dining area where breakfast was served. Hotel provided a shuttle bus into the town ( set times) that could be booked. Highly recommend.
