"Everything was excellent. The owners went above and beyond to make it an enjoyable stay. The standard and quality of the hotel, room and surroundings were of an extremely high standard. Probably the best that I have stayed in. The prices they charge are way below what I have paid for other hotels of a leser standard. I would highly reccomend them to everyone. "

"I found this place by accident. How pleased I am that I did. If you have never been to Normandy ( or even if you have), you must try L'Etape Normande. The accommodation has been converted to an exceptionally high standard. "A converted barn. The room was large with modern bathroom. There is an enclosed verandah with comfortable lounges. Breakfast is continental only. Difficult place to find. Sign is covered in vine. We used as an overnight stop on the way to Lille from Mont Saint Michel ."

"We can't really rate this hotel fairly as when we arrived they said they hadn't received the booking from hotels.com! It was a night we had redeemed one of our reward nights and paid extra for. We were given a room down the road in the house that one of the staff lives in which was hastily cleaned for us! Ok but not what we had paid for. We did use the pool and had breakfast at the hotel. Initial problems with the internet were finally sorted due to my insistence. Whose error was this?"

"The apparrtment is located in a great area, close to all of the amenities. Good shops and restaurants are within a few minutes walk. The apartments are well furnished in a traditional style. A bit heavy and dark for my personal taste, but very well done. I would stay again."

"We arrived at 4pm and were a bit surprised to be told our room wasn't ready. The host soon sorted this out, but we felt the bathroom could have been cleaned more thoroughly. The room we had was very spacious with two queen beds which were very comfortable and breakfast the next morning was fresh and plentiful. The location was close to a major road junction, ideal for motorists looking for an overnight stop. The rooms were effectively double glazed so noise wasn't a problem."

"Extremely hot with opening ground floor windows as only option for relief. People walking by looked in. Only way to get relief at night was same……nit a very safe way to sleep. We left early and would definitely never use again. We knew there was no ac but had no idea there would be no air flow or a safety issue when using windows. We left a day early and was able to get into our Paris room (with ac) a day early."
