Great Hotel in Vigo

Nice Hotel close to everything in beautiful Vigo. The Hotel has a Terrace where we enjoyed the sea view and a cocktail. Reception and housekeeping did a great job, I forgot without knowing my Ipad and they send it to my home, thanks for a great service.

Best staff ever in great hotel

Modern hotel very well appointed, good value, and well worth its 4 stars. Best of all, Montse was the most charming and helpful receptionist I have ever had the pleasure of talking to. Great rooftop terrace and perfect location. Car parking at discounted garage nearby. Only criticism - our room overlooked a local square where nearby bars emptied into at 3 am on Saturday night, so if staying at a weekend and not deaf, ask for a room facing the other way.

Excellent customer service

The Hotel Maroa in Vigo, Spain was a delight! The accommodations and great rooftop breakfast/lounge area is ideal. The best part is their excellent customer service. The staff went out of their way to help us with taxi service and served us a wonderful meal right before closing time as we got in late. As we thanked them for everything, their reply was “of course and happy to help in any way!” Most genuine indeed.

We like the hotel and our stay. However. The air conditioner was not working because we were not in the season for it. Too bad because I paid for a 4 star hotel with all these amenities included (even the air conditioner). We complained about that, a d on the second day thay offered us another room with A/C, but we declined for the inconvenience of moving all our things after settling in the first room. Kleinschalig hotel nabij de haven van Vigo. Op loopafstand van beide treinstations, busstations en het oude stadscentrum. Onze ervaring met het personeel aan de receptie is wisselend. Bij aankomst een uiterst vriendelijke vrouw die goed Engels sprak en zeer uitgebreid de tijd nam om ons tips te geven over lokale restaurants en aanbevelingen voor regionale gerechten. Daarna alleen nog dames die gebrekkig Engels spraken en een wat ongeïnteresseerde indruk maakten (maar wellicht leek dat maar door de taalbarrière). Door hen voelden we ons niet serieus genomen na het melden van problemen met airco, handzeep en een reservering voor een restaurant. Jammer, de eerste dame was juist zo leuk en betrokken! Onze kamer was erg klein en warm (we hadden problemen met de airco). Kluisje en koelkast aanwezig. De badkamer is gerenoveerd en is prima. Wel duurt het lang tot het water warm wordt. De ruimte om kleding op te bergen is beperkt. Het ontbijt is echter super en maakt alles goed! Kleinschalig opgezet, maar een grote variatie. Er wordt heel goed aangevuld en het personeel in de rooftopbar/restaurant is zeer gastvrij en vriendelijk. Mooie ligging van de rooftopbar met uitzicht op de baai, waar ook het ontbijt plaats vindt. Zorg wel dat je geen eten onbeheerd laat liggen, want dan gaan de meeuwen er mee vandoor! Al met al een aanbeveling voor de gunstige ligging, prijs, ontbijt en rooftopbar, maar nog wel wat verbeterpunten t.a.v. de kamer en behandeling van vragen bij de receptie.

Fatal el AC no funcionaba llame 2 veces a recepción me decían que lo miraban pero dormi con calor, las cañerias se escuchaban muy fuertes cuando alguien tomaba un baño, la bañera tenia el tapon roto, la secadora de pelos estropeada nada bueno.
