"A traditional three-star hotel (metal keys, old-school bathroom, interesting artefacts in the corridors) with some four-star features grafted on (a smart cafe and a restaurant that looked very nice though it was sadly not open). Room was clean, spacious and had a sea view; staff were very helpful and even though it was said not to be staffed after 2100, there was always someone there when I got back at night. I'm pretty sure I'm going to stay there again. Very good."

The history hill top town is quiet, with a good few bars and restaurants. In Altafulla, most places do close between 1-5pm… it’s great, exactly the way it should be. "

"Rooms were clean with a great balcony view of the ocean or mountains. The beach was reachable within two minutes by foot and overall it was a pleasant stay. However employees responsible for the bar and breakfast hardly spoke english, didn't even try and were quite rude. They blatantly ignored guests speaking english and kept talking in spanish."
