"We returned to Costa Rica for our babymoon after vacationing in the Arenal Volcano region for our honeymoon. Would definitely recommend this resort. It was our first time visiting a Riu, and we loved the grounds, the staff was great, and there were a good number of selections for food. Some reviews mention the lounge chair availability at the beach, but we had no problem getting spots down there. It is a few minute walk from the pool and restaurant area, but we enjoyed being able to enjoy a relaxing environment on the beach which was always less crowded. There is staff that will set up lounge chairs for you and servers do come down for drinks as well. Overall positive experience and would stay here again next time."

"Had a wonderful and relaxing time at Hotel Arco Iris. Relaxing and helpful from beginning to the end of the stay. Not far from the beach, shops and restaurants. Definitely recommend!"

"Staff was amazing. Property was pretty. On a side note please do yourself a favor and stay away from LEO on the beach outside the property - he blatantly took money from our entire group of 12 people (and called half way through our day to PayPal more so we could continue) He did not give us the excursion he promised, said he would refund money daily, but every day was a different excuse as to why he still hadn’t. Upon further review, he has done this many times! He used to be with the hotel, or so he said- I can see why they wanted him gone!!!"

"This was a really beautiful property, the location to the beach was amazing! The grounds were stunning as well! The staff was friendly and very helpful! It was nice to have the option to check out boogie boards right at the hotel, or you can rent surfboards right there as well. Our transportation to our next location didn't come until 3 hours after check out and they allowed us keep our luggage in a secure location and even had showers available if we wanted! This was a beautiful property!"
