"We were warmly greeted by the Chateau staff who were extremely pleasant and courteous. The history and charm of the Chateau could quickly be felt upon arrival and did not disappoint for the rest of our stay! The grounds were well manicured and blooming beautifully at this time of the year. I highly recommend a romantic weekend getaway for two using the spa facilities if ever in the area! "

"Great location by the lake. But no reception there, no breakfast etc; everything was done via an adjacent hotel. The hotel seemed to be linked to at least two others and arriving on a Tuesday at around 6pm, the restaurants were already full with very few local options."

"This property is under renovation and very early in the morning they were running heavy equipment directly outside our second floor window and renovating the room directly above us using hammers and heavy equipment. I sent an email to the management to suggest that they not rent this room until the renovations were complete in the room above but never got a reply."

"A really lovely stay with superb service and delightful food. Hotel is full of character but the rooms are rather dated. Will definitely be returning with friends next year a lovely experience and hopefully overtime, money will be spent on the interior. The food is superb. The scenery is unparalleled."
