"The hotel was really charming. It wasn't a giant resort or chain. It felt like a vacation and was so comfortable. The room and all common areas were clean. The pool area was great and there were tons of seating and gathering places including a fire pit, some cabanas, and just some family type gathering spaces.The staff was so friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this great little place to anyone. "

"I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. When I first checked in, the room I was given was clearly not properly cleaned. It was dirty and unacceptable, especially for a paying guest expecting basic standards of hygiene. After reporting the issue, I was moved to a different room, but unfortunately, things did not improve. The second room had ants everywhere, which made the stay extremely uncomfortable and frustrating. It felt like the issue was not taken seriously, and the replacement room should have been inspected before assigning it to another guest. To make matters worse, the breakfast was also very disappointing. The food quality was poor and did not meet even basic expectations. Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience. Cleanliness and quality should be a top priority for any hotel, and this place failed on both. I would not recommend staying here."

" Very Unpleasant Stay When we arrived and checked in, the clerk asked if we were smokers. We told him no, and he said he would place us in a non-smoking room. However, as soon as we entered the room, there was a heavy cigarette smell—so strong that our eyes started watering. That should have been our first red flag. As I looked around, I noticed multiple cleanliness issues. The bedside tables were missing drawers, and there were hairs in the sink, shower, and on the floor. We also found wrappers left behind. The room was clearly not cleaned properly. To make matters worse, there was mold in the bathroom, and the smoke detectors had no batteries and appeared to have been tampered with. I went back to the clerk and asked if the room could be properly cleaned. I explained that we had found trash and hair throughout the room. He came in wearing only socks—no shoes—and simply wiped down the counters. At that point, we knew we had to leave. Save yourself the headache and spend a little more money on a better hotel "

"The front desk clerks were very friendly, helpful and kind. The room attendant was very helpful. The Tamarindo restaurant was excellent. No charge for parking!!!! The room was beautiful and very comfortable and clean."

"I'm very pleased about this choice. We needed to attend a funeral, but wanted to be sure to avoid the potential airline difficulties of flying in and out on the same day. The location is great - right across from a mall, very near many eateries and other desirable stores (and they had Zumba in the parking lot on Saturday morning!), very close to the freeway, and about 15 minutes from the Long Beach airport. The guy at the counter (I forgot to get his name) was very helpful and even more friendly. We didn't need much support, but I felt comfortable that I would've been accommodated well, as I watched the person who checked me in work to resolve an issue with the customer in front of me. Obviously, this is a very basic room. If you are looking for anything other than a safe place to lay your head, look elsewhere. But I am very happy that I made this choice and managed to save money. I'd choose it again."
