"Whole hotel looks like it was good 20 years ago and someone just forgot to do anything with it since. We booked a non smoking room but when we entered the room the smoke was so heavy I could taste it and there were burn marks all over the carpet. We asked to be moved and got a new room which smellt like a mixture of smoke and peppermint airfreshener to hide it. At least in this room it was still manageable. Stains in the carpet but bedlinnen and bathroom were clean. Personell was friendly...

"I stayed for three nights. The hotel is clean and well ventilated. I was lucky enough to have a large and quiet room. The owner is very friendly and doesn't bother guests. But the only regret is that the floor noise is loud. It will be noisy if you live next to the stairs. I would come again if given the chance."

"親戚のおばちゃんのお家に遊びに来たような、懐かしい居心地の良さで、連泊したい気持ちになりました。ただ、駐車場がとても狭く、アルファードで出る時にヒヤヒヤしました。お風呂のタイル床や浴槽の狭さから、結局は近くの温泉にみんなで行くことになりました。"

"スタッフさんの対応がとても良く、目の前のプライベートビーチではシュノーケリングを楽しめました。夜のレーザー光線は露天風呂に入りながら見ることができ皆さんのメッセージも心がほっこりしました。オーナーさんが夕食の時一つ一つテーブルを回ってレーザー光線、星空、月と説明して下さいました。ロールスロイスも乗せて頂きました。また行きたいと思います。 "

"the place is an island on it's own and looks like a James Bond villain base from the outside. Inside it's got so many baths and just cool areas to explore. The room itself is comfortable and there's even a little convenience store near the front desk so you can get room snacks easily. I picked up some of the pickled plum udon noodles to cook at home and they were delicious! Meals are a little crowded as they're buffet style but the food itself is amazing and so many different things to try. I recommend coming here at least once and staying two nights if you can."

"Hotel was an 8 minute walk from the train station, easy as. Hotel was clean and staff friendly and welcoming. Room was gorgeous, traditional Japanese room with the most amazing view over the water, sunrise and sunset was beautiful. Room was very comfortable as was the futon for sleeping. Bathroom in the room (no shower) and the room had everything you needed. Bathing: hotel has a male and female (separate) sento/onsen (communal bathing). Common at the more traditional hotels. You have your modesty towel 😅 to use if you wish. Mattered were two male baths- indoor and outdoor. Indoor was beautifully hot and large in size and being indoor, the steam is a great feeling. Outdoor one is smaller (4 people), and is nice and warm and allows a good balance of being able to moderate your body temperature. Both look at our the water. Don’t be shy to go and use these facilities, great place to talk with people whilst relaxing or keep to yourself. Town is an old port town and is very quiet, not many cars around or people. By 6pm you might see a handful of people walking around. Dining options are limited outside the hotel but they are there, if you walk around the street you will find enough dining options. It’s a beautiful town and easy trip to Nachi taisha. Info office at the station if you need, they speak English and happy to help you. Great time and highly recommend this hotel."
