When arriving to check in a lady came to my car asking if I was there to check in. I let her know that I was and that I had a reservation. She started laughing and said, “oh we are overbooked”. And walked away. Then a man came up to my car asking for the number to a taxi service but he had a phone on his hand. Place seems sketchy and I would not recommend wasting your time booking here.

The plumbing was broken. I had to look elsewhere. Apparently this Hotel is notorious for this sort of thing. Paid 2 months in advance. another couple in front of me paid 2 years in advance. Eclipse!!! I should get more than just a refund. Everything was booked. Had to sleep in my rental car, thank you.

Horrible, should be shut down. Has reservations for Sunday before the eclipse, April 7, 2024 and when we arrived the woman at the desk said there was no available rooms. Said they had a plumbing issue, however just before arrival we got a message from the hotel saying they were awaiting our arrival and stay. We asked about a refund as we had to find other accommodations and was told we had to go through Expedia to get it. She called the manager to talk to us because she barely spoke English. Manager Alma was the one that told us all this. Besides overcharging for the eclipse, the hotel contacted me to find out why we wanted a refund. Took Expedia over a week to get them to respond. DO NOT STAY HERE. People are rude, dishonest, and unethical.

I booked this reservation through Expedia for a business trip and received a confirmation. However, when we arrived at the hotel in Waco after a 3 hour drive from Houston, I was told that the hotel was sold out and that they would not honor my reservation. Apparently, other guests were experiencing the same problem. Unfortunately, there were no availability for hotels in Waco due to the eclipse traffic. As a result, we turned around and immediately drove back to Houston for the night. THIS IS A HORRIBLE WAY OF DOING BUSINESS! The OYO hotel as well as Expedia can not be trusted for my future travel needs.

I lost my deposit because my flight leaves at 5 in the morning, I speak at 7 at night to check out and receive my return deposit, the answer is; there is no manager, nor the person in charge to receive the room, after 10. No solution to my problem by the reception of this hotel, your customer service is terrible. perdi mi deposito porque mi vuelo sale a las 5 de la mañana, hablo a las 7 de la noche para hacer check out y recibir mi deposito de regreso, la respuesta es; no hay manager, ni la persona encargada para recibir la habitacion, despues de las 10. ningina solucion a mi problema por parte de la recepcion de este hotel, su servicio al cliente es pesimo.

I was going cheap so I chose OYO but this place was terrible. They only had a couple of rooms available and one smelled strongly of cigarette smoke (like someone recently had been in there smoking) and the next was where someone must have been staying because it had an electric hotplate but the door didn't lock. The third room was in the best shape of all 3 but was old and not in the best shape. The kicker was no wifi. This place was terrible so I said I was going to cancel the rest of my stay which the manager said I could. The next day (I had to stay because it was late at night when I checked in) I cancelled and they would not refund my money like they said they would.

DO NOT BOOK, no matter how cheap the rates are. I made a reservation to this hotel and had my confirmation email 2 days prior. When I arrived in person to check in, I was told the hotel over booked. They had signs printed there were no vacany and the front desk rep told me there were no rooms left. They walked me without having the decency to find me a place to stay for the night. They didn’t offer any help, barely spoke any English to communicate. Save yourself trouble and do not book. Luckily I was not stranded late at night with my family.

I booked and prepaid for a room at the OYO on Expedia. But when we got to the hotel they didn’t have any rooms. Also, the clerk didn’t speak English. She had to call someone to talk to us.

Nastiest hotel i have ever stayed in. The lady at the desk did not speak English. If you had a question, she had to call someone who spoke English. Property is old, furnishing are old and worn. Reserved a King bed no smoking but they did not have.

Showed up. I had a pre-paid, non- refundable reservation. The lady behind the window said they had no rooms. I explained my reservation wàs prepaid non refundable and she said they had no rooms. Did not explain why and did not even help me relocate. Horrible service for someone who had a prepaid reservation. I will never stay at one of their hotels.

Although we reserved a 1 king bed non smoking room, we were given a 2 double bed room with a missing smoke detector and smelling of cigarette smoke. We asked if another room was available, none were. The room was cleaned daily. We had to ask for shampoo and soap because it was not replaced by the cleaning staff. The plastic cups provided by the hotel weren't replaced either. The hotel was old and not updated, the online photos were deceiving. The price we paid for the room was appropriate for what it was.

When I showed up at the property, there was no one there and they purposely didn't leave a number to get ahold of anyone, so I couldn't check in. I had to sleep in my car and they are still yet to refund me.

The pillows smelled like dirt, there was no doorknob on the bathroom door, there were numerous holes in the walls with toilet paper stuffed in them and stains everywhere, the door was not sealed and allowed sunlight to seep through the door, there was no coffee pot in room or lobby for hot water, the trashcan was full of black water, when i went for check-out after 8 am, the doors were locked and nobody was there to help. I was very disappointed in my stay.

I booked a room and when I showed up they had no vacancy signs and the desk clerk had the same message. Shrugged shoulders when I said I had confirmation. I know, it's an OYO so not super surprised - and based on the looks of the place it's probably for the better. Now the hassle of getting a refund is underway.

We pulled up to check in and it looked filthy. There was an old laundry cart with shredded fabric in the parking lot. Garbage all over. We pulled around the building and a cleaning lady was dumping dirty water into the parking lot from the second floor. My husband said we were not going to stay in such a disgusting place. We left abs stayed somewhere else!! Would not suggest for anyone to stay there.

This hotel should be condemned and burned to the ground. Total roach motel. The room stunk. Counted at least 7 roaches. Paint peeling. Everything was dirty and nasty.

Couldn't connect to the internet. The TV relied on the internet to work. Never worked while there. No phone in the room. Lights in the main room did not work. Outlets on both sides of the bed didn't work.
