"What a fantastic way to start experiencing Wadi Rum. Communication from the property before the trip was easy. There is a vehicle that takes you from the parking area to the actual hotel -- this is also where you can reserve a desert excursion. (Note: cash only and there are no ATMs around.) "I had an excellent stay and Wadi Rum experience at Beyond Wadi Rum camp. Everybody who I interacted with - the owner/manager Salman and my guides Abdul and Abdelkarim - where very kind and accommodating. The facilities were great, and I was kindly upgraded to a larger tent with its own bathroom facilities upon arrival as there was availability. The tours around the desert themselves were fantastic and I saw so much of the desert, and had a great time exploring. I would not hesitate to recommend...
