"Arrival & Atmosphere We arrived around 3 PM and check-in was smooth - there was one staff member at the front desk who was expecting us. However, the resort felt unusually quiet, almost empty. During our stay, most facilities appeared closed, including dining and the spa. It’s unclear whether these are only available in peak season. We did notice a couple of staff cars later in the day, but overall the property felt very inactive. Facilities & Amenities Some amenities were either unavailable or underwhelming. The sauna and steam room are located in a small unisex space and are not kept running - you have to turn them on yourself and switch them off after use. The pool area was also closed, and we were not provided access. In the chalet, amenities were quite basic for a wellness resort. There were no slippers or bathrobes, no paper towels in the kitchen, and only one box of tissues in the bathroom. The tub/jacuzzi did not come with bath salts or proper toiletries, so it wasn’t very usable. There is also no in-room safe. Basic items like bottled water, cups, and dining sets for two were provided. Room Layout & Design We paid about NZ$405 (~$238) for a one-bedroom chalet (65 sqm). The space itself is generous, but the layout is not very functional. The bathroom connects to the closet, which is convenient, and having an ironing board is a plus. However, the shower is quite small, the sink is shallow, and the toilet is tightly placed between fixtures, making it awkward to use. "

"The staff is excellent. He told me a few local attractions that are really nice. I mistakenly double booked for the last day, and the manager help canceled it even though it’s supposed non refundable. I wish Expedia have picked up such a simple error when I made the booking."

"No kitchen and coffee space was alittle tight and in the pictures upstairs room showed a double bed but when we arrived it was 2 singles which was disappointing my husband. Staff was very friendlt but we caught tail end of welcome and didnt get the whole welcome speech which was sad as we were alittle lost with some things but over all it was a bed to stay "
