"A great place for an overnight journey break, excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Room was a little dated but clean and in keeping with the style you’d expect of the period. The EV chargers were easy to use and worked without issue. Just wish we could have spent some more time there to explore."

"The room was clean and fresh on arrival and in perfect order. We had a good night’s sleep with very little noise around. The receptionists were welcoming, polite and efficient. However, a £5 charge for parking was a surprise. If it is in the small print Hotels.com failed to highlight this extra charge which is disappointing. . "

The room was spacious and had plenty of storage. The room was well decorated and cared for Very comfortable bed. The breakfast was plentiful and the choice was excellent.
