When I got to my room, I was SO happy! Baron Liu at the front desk was a gem and the room was delightful – on the first floor and right at pool level so my patio opened up to the pool and I could hop right in! The bed, of course, was heavenly and the room was spacious and clean. The staff at the Lobby Lounge were polite and accommodating and got to know me because of my daily coffee and snack visits. The beach is clean and the beach chairs and towels numerous. They have a small roped off swimming area on the beach. However, the pool was excellent, and I chose to stay there because it was nearly empty every day! They have a small drinks/ice cream bar at the pool which was nice for refreshments. The nightly buffet on the lawn was good but got a bit old after 3 nights. Perhaps changing up the variety of food would make it more attractive. They have a western restaurant and of course, the Lobby Lounge. They also have two Chinese restaurants that catered more to families/big groups – not great for a solo traveler. For such a huge resort, I would expect more food options. My favorite part of my trip was my visit to the Heavenly Spa where Amy Long took amazing care of me! I highly recommend this hotel and plan on visiting again!
