"Great hotel to stay if going to an event. No aircon we complained about heat in room said would put fans in Our room guess what no fans ! Breakfast plentiful lots of choice."

"Bedroom and bathroom both clean and spotless. Beds comfy. Queued a bit at check in but it was just after 3 so peak time. Staff were friendly and efficient. Lifts had queues as well. Breakfast disappointing, would prefer better quality continental rather than all the offering of poor quality. Nothing wrong with options or the way it is offered on the buffet, just not great quality."

"We wanted to take a relaxing break away for a night and enjoy the spa facilities of this hotel, booked after seeing the photos online. The hotel has beautiful grounds, check in was quick and we were upgraded to a deluxe room which was nice and clean, no air con just a fan in the room, the hotel needs TLC in most areas, it is a maze and we struggled to find our way around it. We went out for dinner as the hotel was hosting a wedding and was very busy. The spa was not the best, difficult to relax with kids running around, the pool area is very small and steam and sauna rooms were busy too. The gym was fine, fully equipped. Breakfast was standard nothing amazing. I think for the price paid it was satisfactory but if you want to have a relaxing weekend then couldn’t recommend it."

"We enjoyed staying in the tents at the medieval village, the grounds are beautiful. Parking and Check in was easy and quick. Tents were clean and comfortable, the beds and bedding provided were great we loved it. Activities in the evening were good for young kids ages 5-10 but not so much for older kids. Breakfast was nice, lots of choice but the queue to get a table was unreasonable considering you have to book a time a lot. Negatives - the board walk is really noisy so keeps you awake when kids run up and down it late at night or early morning. I didn’t realise we were so close to the airport, early planes also woke us up, VERY LOUD. The showers are nice and powerful but drainage is a joke, the whole wet room becomes a bath and stays wet, soapy and dirty so using the toilet after someone’s showered is impossible, expect wet feet and trousers. All the staff were friendly and helpful"
