"We very much enjoyed our stay. Very clean, modern amenities with a great view of DC out our room on the 6th floor. You could even see the Washington Monument and dome of the Capitol in a distance. Great location in what seemed to be a safe area. We were in close proximity to a number of sites. Parking is an extra cost but convenient and the affordable price of our room made up for it. Amenities met all of our needs. We appreciated that the room had body wash, shampoo and conditioner, that there were snacks and beverages for purchase at the desk downstairs, that there was a restaurant (with a delicious but small breakfast buffet), and that the staff were all very kind, friendly and welcoming! Very convenient that there is also a gym and spa available, if desired or needed—although we did not take advantage of those amenities. The king-size bed was very comfortable, as was the bedding. The couch in our room did look like it was due to be replaced; but, the room was otherwise was satisfactory. Would highly recommend and come again! Thank you for a great stay! "

"Great Location. About a 10 minute walk from all the major sites, including the White House. Really enjoyed my stay here. The room was beautiful with a great view. Additionally the on site restaurant had great breakfast options. Really enjoyed my stay here and the staff were very well mannered. "

"Beautiful hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Parking however was overpriced. When we pulled in they said it was $40 but we were charged $55 because it was overnight. Who uses parking at a hotel and doesn’t need it to be overnight?! That was an additional 30% for the cost of the room. "

"The rooms were very spacious and the one we booked had a kitchenette which was nice when travelling. The bed was comfortable and soft. The hotel was 3 blocks from Mt Vernon metro station and this was only a couple of stops from L’Enfant station where most of the other lines go through so easy to change to get places. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. There is no self parking so expect to pay $$ for valet. There is a parking lot across the street but I didn’t see how much. We had problems in 2 rooms with the heating but the other room was good. The breakfast had a good variety and there was tables and chairs and a fire place down stairs to hang around. "

"Walking into the property to check in everything was easy check in was fast I got my room key, and was in my room within 10 minutes. The room was small two queen size beds large clean functional bathroom with a large shower tub . The shower head put out a ton of water, so that was convenient the hotel uses those in shower shampoo and soap bottles that I don't particularly like but they seem to be all the rage these days. The room used a Nespresso coffee maker but which I don't particularly like but Target was just up the street with Nespresso pods so I was able to have all the coffee that I liked exactly the way I liked it every morning. The view from the room was spectacular , and the ice maker although right next to the room did not make enough noise to wake me up. All the facilities were functional the whole time I was there , although the restaurant was very expensive and the food was average. At one point noticing that the air conditioner was making a lot of noise I opened the vent cover and noticed that the filter was very dirty, so I called the front desk to tell them. The next day the filter was replaced and the air conditioner was much quieter. I say this to point out that the staff was very responsive. I would stay here again and recommend it. "
