"My travels led me to the AmericInn by Wyndham Brookfield, a humble inn that, while not Rivendell, proved a fine refuge for a weary traveler.
My king's chamber was clean and well kept, with a bed and pillows worthy of a hobbit's finest guest room. The shower was spotless, though the water flowed more like a peaceful stream than the mighty falls of the Misty Mountains. Still, it served well.
The keepers of the inn were courteous, professional, and always willing to help, making every encounter a pleasant one. Each morning's breakfast was fresh and exactly what one hopes for from a good roadside inn.
But every quest has its obstacles.
The Wi-Fi was no enchanted palantír. It handled streaming and light work well enough, but video meetings occasionally lagged, and online gaming was a battle better fought elsewhere.
The training hall also seemed forgotten by the stewards. I never found sanitizing wipes, and many of the free weights had lost their matching pair, though the equipment itself worked fine.
Despite these small shortcomings, this inn is an excellent value. The clean rooms, comfortable stay, and friendly staff more than made up for them.
4 out of 5 stars. Should your journey bring you through Brookfield, this inn is a worthy place to rest before venturing onward."
