"Overall our experience was great. Cute walkable tourist town with a decent selection of restaurants including Dennys which is open 24/7. About 30 min from Yosemite’s Southgate entrance. Our room was mostly clean- though the toilet seat seemed to frequently slip out of place. Staff was friendly. Breakfast selection was lacking but available daily (eggs, sausage, toast, cereal)."

"Always a great stay at Mariposa Lodge. The staff is friendly, the rooms and grounds are clean and comfortable, The location is in the heart of town. Only minuses: in room coffee and tea are not good. The coffee machines are not Keurig, so you don't have the option of bringing your own pods. Coffee is tasteless. Coffee made in the lobby would solve that. Tea is the worst USA brand. Twinings has international appeal and would make a good replacement. Happy Burger Diner has the best food in town and is an easy walk. Cinnamon Roll and Jantz Bakery are great breakfast options if you want a pastry and coffee to start your day. I stay here once every other month. These are my lodgings of choice."
