"Great room, we booked a suite. Helpful reception staff and the pub and pizza restaurant are large and welcoming. Only problem was road noise as we were at the front of the hotel by a busy main road. Will ask to be at the back if we stay again"

"Room was lovely, but its the fine details that get missed , the shower head had mould on the shower head and it flooded, no fridge in the rooms , air conditioning was a god send, the nets in the bedroom was mouldy Lovely hotel and breakfast was nice too, a lovely nights stay, staff very welcoming"

"The room was lovely and had everything I needed. Everything was spotless. There was shampoo, conditioner etc. The main downside was noise. The Jam Jar bar/cafe below was very busy on the Friday and Saturday nights I was there, with music and people having a drink outside on the street. If you are a night owl and planning on being out late and getting up late (brunch from 10:00) I think you will be very happy there. If you prefer to head to bed a bit earlier and want breakfast earlier than 10:00 then it may work less well. That said, there is a Cafe Nero just across the street which opens at 07:00 which is what I did."

"Excellent hotel with great amenities. It comes fully stocked with clean bedding and towels. However, the bathroom needed a bit of dusting—specifically on the towel rails and counters. There were also a few maintenance issues: a bedside cabinet handle was temporarily fixed with Blue Tack, and the fan isolator switch was broken. On the plus side, the rear parking is both free and convenient, and there are plenty of great amenities in the local area."

"Staff lovely, nice room with everything you needed lovely choice of breakfast (pay extra) Bar/restaurant food was nice but bottle of Diet Coke very expensive I thought swimming pool was included in price and was disappointed you had to pay £7 per day which was expensive if you only wanted a swim"

"It's not brand new, but the attraction is not in that (go stay at a 5 star corporate hotel if that's what you're looking for). The charm was in being a local country tavern set enough off the highway that it was dead silent at night. Maybe the hallway carpet could do with a steam clean, but the rooms (same carpet) felt clean and cared for. Everything was painted the best they could, and there was lots of quirky notes and pictures in the restaurant/bar to show someone there cared and had a sense of humour. Wildly cheap food and drinks (half of what we paid the night before in Leeds). Support local business, get off your High Horse, and experience the community spirit."
