"This hotel was perfect for my visit. The check-in staff were nice. My room was large and clean. I arrived after 9pm and was happy to see they had onsite security and the entry doors were locked except if you had a key. It made me feel very safe while traveling alone. The grounds were clean and the hotel itself was quiet. There are a ton of places around to eat and over 4 options within 2 miles for coffee. I did get the complimentary coffee offered at the little stop and shop area. I was there for the Air Force BMT graduation and this hotel was only a 15 min drive to the base. I’ve been to San Antonio numerous times but this was my first time staying here but it definitely won’t be my last."

"We stayed here for my daughter’s BMT graduation. Clean and felt safe. Everyone else there was basically there for the same reason. Chose it because it’s within 2 miles of the base gates. Waffles in the shape of Texas. Tasty, too."

"I always book through Expedia and like this Hotel (Residence in by Marriott). I travel every 3 weeks. I dislike that I am charged for parking by Residence in by Marriott and that is not announced as "extra" by Expedia when selecting a Hotel. None of the other Hotels in San Antonio, TX have ever charged me "extra" for Parking and I've stayed at half a dozen."

"We stayed for one full week for our son’s BMT Graduation. The property is not shiny and new but it is decently clean. All of the staff we encountered were kind and accommodating. We had to ask for more toilet paper, Kleenex and paper towels because they were not restocked during the every other day brief cleaning. It wasn’t a big deal. We just asked the front desk. The pool is nice if you wait until after around 4:30pm the building shades the entire pool. Our 7 year old enjoyed the splash feature and waterfall. The breakfast food was good. Three hot options, waffles, cold cereal, oatmeal with lots of toppings and a selection of breads and pastries. It’s definitely worth getting up a bit early for breakfast because it got pretty crowded close to the end of breakfast hours. There was a small store with snacks, toiletries and even some frozen dinners. We didn’t buy anything except water but it was a good amenity. We stayed in a suite with a king size bed and couch bed. It gave us a good amount of space to hang out in the room. The fridge is a good size. We made a Costco run and bought snacks and drinks for the week. It worked out great."
