This property was beautiful. Our room was large and very comfortable. The bathroom was also large and clean. The breakfasts were delicious, with a different selection everyday. We were very pleased with the property and would definitely stay there again.

We had a shorter stay than planned but we throughly enjoyed ourselves while we were there. The home, gardens and pool are exquisite and comfortable, the hosts were perfectly welcoming, attentive and informative.We will be back!

We arrived somewhat later than expected, which didn’t cause any problems. The place is a privately run Bed and Breakfast establishment. The room was pleasantly furnished. The owner was very hospitable and the breakfast in the morning was exceptionally good.

It is a beautiful guest house. They view is beautiful and the hosts are friendly. Room is comfortable and cozy. Are is very residential and quiet. But at the same time it’s the only accommodation in the area, so if you want to be in West Vancouver it is a great opportunity. During my stay the service was a bit off, they left my room open and stopped service in the middle, and forgot to put towels so I needed to hunt them down at midnight. But it seems like they were just having a difficult day.

Bait and switch by Suite Smart West Van

This is a bait and switch. This property listing should be removed from Hotels.com immediately so that no one else falls prey to this scheme. The property was not open when we arrived, was under construction, and was listed for sale.

Property Manager did not send access information timely and no answer on the phone and no email / chat response. we have to drive 3 hours skipping our planned tours to make sure we have place to sleep. very disappointed.

The home at this address could not be acessesed with codes provided by Smart Suite, when we looked through the windows it was was empty of furniture. NO response to email or phone calls from Smart Suite. Had to find an alternative for the night. Never received my money back. Beware!

Although this was a beautiful property, I must say that I am disappointed in the owners service. A week prior to our stay on May 10, we called in as we realized that there was an issue in the booking through Expedia which we were booked for May 17-20, but only needed to stay May 17-19. I spoke with the owner of the property twice where he confirmed that he had changed the booking to May 17- May 19 and sent a request to Expedia for them to process a refund for the extra night since the payment is not recieved u too after our stay. When asked for a confirmation he said he wasn’t able to send one and that I could trust his word as he is the owner of the property. After our stay we did not receive a refund and contacted Expedia where they informed us that he was paid in full and when they tried contacting the property manager to process the refund he did not approve. If that was the case, and he was not willing to issue a refund, he should have said that from the beginning instead of misleading us that we would get a refund for the extra night. Dishonesty is not the way to run a business. We will never be visiting your establishment again, very disappointed in the service provided.
